We're Rebecca and Charlie, the founders of Surrey Hills Mushrooms, a dedicated family-run mushroom business nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills.

With three little ones in tow and a deep love for the natural world, we’ve built our lives - and this business - around a simple philosophy: working with nature, not against it.

Our Story

Our journey began with a shared passion for eco-living practices, low-impact cooking, and a curiosity about the ancient and emerging wisdom surrounding functional mushrooms. What started as a fascination with the health-supporting powers of Lion’s Mane, quickly turned into hands-on cultivation and now, a growing range of high-quality, consciously produced mushroom powders and fresh fungi.

Living in the beautiful Surrey Hills AONB, we feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the inspiration and abundance of the natural world. It's this environment that fuels our commitment to sustainability, traceability, and transparency in everything we do.

A Bit More About Us

Rebecca holds an MSc in Sustainable Development, and has long been passionate about plot-to-plate initiatives, regenerative practices, and building food systems that nourish both people and planet. Charlie brings an adventurous spirit and love for learning and, together, we're diving deep into the research behind the cognitive and neurological benefits of Lion’s Mane and other medicinal mushrooms. We're not here to make exaggerated claims, just to offer quality, well-sourced products that speak for themselves.
